There are cases like this where small businesses get over run by million dollar companies which have dozens of lawyers covering their backs. Usually their cases have a foundation that makes sense, but in some situations like the interesting case of Monster Energy Drink attacking Vermonster beer the claims are considered outrageous.

Rock Art Brewery is a home based business in Vermont that has been brewing a fine beer called Vermonster for a long time, and now gets threatened by a large company called Hansen Natural Corp that their Vermonster has a name that is too close to their Monster Energy Drink.

Rock Art Brewery is taking action against this and has already contacted trademark lawyers that have given their professional opinion about the incident and are stating that there is no copyright infingement.

Rock Art Brewery fears that the million dollar company can easily run them over in court because of the money that they can afford to spend on the case, and is hoping that the citizens of the United States would take this as public as they can, and do what is possible to make the existense of small businesses in the USA possible.
